Would I Lose Credibility If I Did This?

I have been self employed for years and written extensively about self employment. Would people think less of me if I got a job working for someone else even if it was part time? I ask because I have built quite a following writing pro self employment articles, and training/teaching others to be self employed. Business is poor because no one seems to be buying anything that isn’t essential, and I mainly deal in high end electronics among other things that can be seen as luxury items that most people don't actually need in order to survive.
