Girls how do i find a person that would love me for me?

i guess that im lonely, i dont have any friends because im shy at school. im a guy 16 year old geek. i moved to a new school this year made some friends and got a girlfriend but i turned out that she was incredibly digressed and manipulative using suicide as a threat. i broke up with her after 5 months of hell and sleep deprivation see wanted to stay friends but continued to treat me as if we where together so i told her that we could not be friends. she was upset and lied to my friends (also her friends) about what happened, making me look like an awful person. i did not stand up for my self because i :1 could not fiction properly because of the mental abuse, 2 because i knew that if she knew why i had broke up with her (her manipulation and abuse) she would possibly commit suicide. so i lost all my friends and was and have been alone since then 7 months ( not just with out gf but without friends ). i just want a female friend to talk to and to feel like im not alone in the world. . if anyone has advice leave it below. im sorry and thank you all.
