Green horse. Won't move forward.?

With a young horse that doesnt want to move forward you ant force him which I'm sure you already know, I do a lot of clinton work, but with young horses its not worth the fight and you have to trick them into moving forward. If his mouth is so soft than I would ise the biggest ringed snaffle you can find so that the horse cant pull the ring through his mouth, as soon as he stops moving turn is head slightly each direction continually and it will trick his body into moving forward after awhile the horse being green will give up and just move forward.
